Shannon Ford RYT-200

Shannon doesn’t know a stranger ... she speaks to and connects whole-heartedly with nearly everyone she meets! She loves live music, a good dirty chai, adventures with her family and friends, and yoga, of course!

During the day, you can find Shannon working as a pediatric nurse or at home caring for her two children, Charlee and Liv. At night, she is usually hanging out with her favorite person, Billy, her husband of 15 years. Their dream is to retire in an RV that they redesign and travel in together!

When you come to Shannon’s class, you are going to find a balance of calm and calamity... why not? It’s all growth! She believes that yoga is accessible to all bodies, to everybody. “Yoga is not about self-improvement, it’s about self-acceptance” (Gurmukh Kaur Khalsa). Her favorite pose is half pigeon because something magical happens between the mind and body. The deep stretch often elicits deep emotions, and being a powerful Pisces, Shannon knows all about emotions.

Shannon graduated her 200hr yoga teacher training through Dancing Dogs Yoga in 2020 at Victory Power Yoga. She completed a Restorative Yoga training in Winston Salem, NC in 2021.
