Nicole McKenna ERYT-200

Nicole embodies gratitude in her life and teaching. Her yoga students can expect to be challenged, praised, and reminded to see opportunity within challenging yoga poses and in life.

Nicole lives with psoriatic arthritis & narcolepsy, which informs her daily gratitude practice as well as both her and physical yoga practice and approaches to teaching. She inspires her community to customize any pose to access power and freedom.

In her first career, Nicole was a Sergeant First Class in the U.S. Army. She began her advanced education and yoga training after she retired from Ft. Liberty (formerly named Ft. Bragg). She is now pursuing a PhD in Forensic Psychology with a concentration in crisis response. She is also currently conducting research to complete her dissertation on lived experiences of veterans and first responders using yoga to manage the physical and psychological impacts of their work.

When she is not studying or teaching yoga, Nicole journals daily, spends time in her garden, travels, enjoys time with friends, and enjoys time with her fur babies, Jax & Daisy, both Miniature American Eskimos.
