Kristi Blankenship RYT-200

For Kristi, Teaching yoga brings her “such a sense of joy and peace.  I love watching others grow in their practice.” This should be no surprise as she has been an ER/trauma nurse for over 15 years. She provides a balance of challenge and self-care in her classes. She strives for yoga classes that are accessible for everybody and all body types with an ample supply of joy and keeping the journey fun. She says, “I love to laugh at myself.  With errors and screw-ups, you would never learn. Messing up is messy sometimes but that is when the growth happens.”

On Kristi’s bucket list is traveling abroad to places like Greece and Bali. She grew up just north of the studio with many summers spent farming tobacco. When she’s not at the studio, she’s likely to be found hanging out with her kids, running them around to their many extracurricular activities. She lives in Clayton with three children,  Coen 12, Kadyn 8, and Evan 5 plus a whopping seven pets!

Kristi graduated from her 200hr Yoga Alliance certified teacher training with Dancing Dogs Yoga and Victory Power Yoga in 2021. She completed her yin yoga training in the summer of 2022.
